When AFL (The previous name for Advice for Life) came to us, they wanted help in appealing to the younger market of financial spenders. Simon & the team sat down with them and explained what we think they should do, giving out our personal advice. No up-selling. No underhand tactics.

We wanted to see AFL succeed and thrive, the best thing for us to see is our clients do well. A new logo was produced along with a Website and Printed documentation. Advice for Life loved the new style and immediately jumped on board, they started planning a new design for their offices, something in keeping with the new brand and a more exciting environment to work in. They soon came to us to produce an Acrylic stand-off sign for their office wall – to really embrace the change. Constant communication was key to this relationship and was pain-free on both sides.
Advice for Life branding

Branding

We suggested rather than a rebrand, a simple brand refresh was needed, removing the old logo, taking AFL and extending it back to Advice for Life is a simple way of introducing the friendlier and less corporate style of AFL. A simple choice of colours was selected and after a short informal board meeting, we had the go ahead to begin the rest of the project.

Advice for Life Website

Website Design

AFL’s existing website was starting to show its age, the use of 2D characters didn’t coincide with their knowledgeable and esteemed values and it was clear they needed a consistent identity to go alongside a user-friendly website, full of advice and ways of contacting the advisors.

Advice for Life Branding

Print

As with many businesses, the basic print required would be Business cards, Headed paper, Envelopes and Compliment slips. We took the new brand and designed these for AFL, this would increase the customer recognition of the business.

Signage

As afore mentioned, Advice for Life approached us after redecorating their offices to create a Sign for their internal wall. After a quick measure up, a visual mock-up was sent over to them and once approved it was ready to be produced and then fitted. A relatively simple process, which only took a couple of hours with very minimal disruption to AFL’s office.
